I like to imagine anxiety and negative thoughts like an iceberg. The top of the iceberg above the water may be an emotion like worry or even anger, but below the surface are a million other emotions that anxiety is pushing down or covering up. Anxiety can manifest itself in so many different ways. It can be physical like shaking, sweating or pacing. Maybe you experience racing thoughts that you feel like you can't escape or you may run away and act out. Maybe anxiety has even become so a part of your everyday life that it feels natural. Our minds are smart, even the anxiety part of our minds. It may feel like you can't break a cycle of thinking, but really this is a tool that you can use. I can help equip you with more tools and techniques, and help you dive a little deeper into the anxiety itself. Anxiety can feel lonely, but you are not alone in this journey.
